Group Confidentiality

Because many of our services take place in a group setting, we ask all participants to respect one another’s privacy.

• What is shared in group must remain in group.

• Clients are expected not to discuss, repeat, or disclose any personal information shared by others.

Recording & Privacy Rules

To protect everyone in the program:

• Audio and video recording are strictly prohibited

• Taking photos during any activity is not allowed

• Unauthorized sharing of information may result in dismissal from the program

 

Limits of Confidentiality

There are specific situations where confidentiality may be legally limited, including:

• Court or legal reporting requirements

• Threats of harm to self or others

• Suspected abuse or neglect, as required by law

In these situations, we are required to report information to the appropriate authorities.
